TruckLOG:
Shock Sensor module
Incidents associated with operator error and careless driving in materials handling environments add significantly to vehicle running costs. The TruckLOG Shock Sensor Module addresses this issue, making damage–related cost savings of up to 60% possible and offering huge reductions in downtime.
Compatible with all types of materials handling vehicles, the Shock Sensor Module is an invaluable management tool. It will record impacts and can inform supervisory staff of event frequency and the drivers responsible.
The Shock Sensor Module forms an integral part of Access Control Plus+ where it can be programmed to activate audible or visual alarms when the vehicle is involved in an impact which exceeds your preset level. Basic administrative software can also be specified, adding a reporting function which provides the time and date of unacceptable shock incidents together with the vehicle ID and PIN of the drivers involved. Shock alerts can only be cancelled by staff authorised to carry a RESET Smart Card.

As part the TruckLOG Fleet Management Information System (FMIS), the Shock Sensor Module offers even more functionality. In this guise, the system will tell you the level of shocks received by vehicles, when they were reset and the name of the supervisor declaring them safe to drive. With this data, the FMIS can customise scheduled or on–demand reports to give you a full overview of shock–related incidents. This in turn can help you to compare driving trends and plan reward schemes, training courses and other measures to improve driving standards and reduce downtime.
