Davis Derby manufactures a range of products designed for use in conveyor systems, primarily to offer conveyor protection in the materials and minerals handling industry.  All Davis Derby conveyor protection products are certified intrinsically safe to CENELEC EN50020 category EEx ia I and are thus also suitable for use in mining applications.

Currently in the range are:

	Conveyor Sequence and Slip Roller - used to provide a simple means of conveyor sequence control and also for belt slip detection.
	Pease Probe Sensing Device - typically used for blocked chute detection and belt misalignment detection.
	Belt Alignment and Tear Sensor - provides protection against conveyor belt misalignment or 'wander'.
	Belt Alignment Switch - provides visual and electrical indication of belt misalignment.
	Heavy Duty Back Spillage Detector - used around transfer points and chutes to detect mineral spillage.
