StedFAST Relay Control Units Type 23418 and ICR3

Both types of Relay Control Unit comprise of a sheet steel IP65 rated enclosure which houses a fused stepdown transformer, relay and terminals. Operation of a pullkey or a cable fault results in the relay becoming de-energised, opening a contact that can be used to trip the conveyor or other plant item. A lamp indicates that the relay is de-energised.

The ICR3 unit can be used as a stop/start station and incorporates a second relay, stop switch, reset switch and an indicator which glows to indicate the unit is healthy and that the control relays may be reset to start the conveyor. Two additional outputs are also provided to allow connection into ancillary circuits.

The ICR3/P Relay Control Unit can be used as a control station as it incorporates an integrated PLC unit to provide direct connection of other conveyor protection devices to the one control unit.
