PC21 Control & Monitoring Solutions

The intrinsically safe ATEX M1 certified Minewatch PC 21 system comprises a range of modules which can be linked together via CAN bus data links to provide a modular system for environmental monitoring and mine plant monitoring and control applications.

The PC21 system can be used to control and monitor the whole of the mine and send the associated data to the surface control room SCADA where it can be displayed/analysed /utilised to enable efficient and safe operations. The system provides an easy to use modular, multi-purpose, reliable platform that can be used for the simplest control/monitoring system yet be easily extended with additional modules to create large control/monitoring systems. The advantage of the distributed modular system is the potential for saving extra costs incurred by long multi- copper cable runs to remote inputs/outputs. The distributed modular systems can be connected together on a three core copper cable utilising a Canbus/Canbridge transmission protocol up to a distance of 5Km.  The PC21 system includes various modules which can be incorporated into different enclosures to meet the requirements of customers while being extremely cost effective.

Enclosures can be designed to include various options Inputs, Outputs, Switch Inputs, Analogue Outputs, Signalling and Communications systems, Pre-start warning, Modbus communications, SAP Transmission or Ethernet over Fibre Optic Transmission in one unit or over a distributed network.
