TK5 Driver Access & Fleet Management system.
TK5 Driver Access & Fleet Management
TK5 TruckLOG is the UK’s best-selling independent MHE fleet management system and improves the safety, compliance and the utilisation of your MHE operation. By encompassing measurability, accountability and control, it ensures your operations are more efficient and safer.
TruckLOG systems are now in widespread use on over 50,000 trucks in many manufacturing, distribution warehouses, airports, steelworks, breweries, ports, building product suppliers and food production and processing plants throughout Europe. We pride ourselves in being the market leader for MHE fleet management solutions and are proud to have many blue chip customers in our portfolio.
TruckLOG TK5 is a cost-effective, easily implemented and centrally controlled system that ensures that only authorised drivers are allowed to start the trucks, shock events are reported, and it provides driver and vehicle utilisation analysis to give management the tools required to operate successful manufacturing and distribution operations.
In addition to fully integrated access control, the system automatically records every individual MHE usage, including the time and date the driver / operator logs-on and off. Also included is a full suite of MHE, driver and system reports, which can be viewed via a web portal.
TK5 can be fitted to all types of MHE including forklifts, MEWPs and floor cleaners.

Features:
Driver/Operator Access Control
Checks the driver ID prevents the un-authorised operation of vehicles by anyone other than those in
possession of configured smartcard licences for operating designated vehicles.
Pre-Operational Check system
User specific Pre-operational checks The fully customisable pre-operational checks are designed in order to comply with health & safety regulations regarding pre-operational checks on MHE equipment and to provide management with a paperless audit trail.
The system is able to automatically record that each driver has completed his pre-operational checks prior and retained for further use.
The system also has manager’s audit capabilities; this allows manager to audit individual drivers to ensure correct compliance. The timing of the questions is user definable, e.g. asked at either the start of a shift or on change of driver. If a defect is identified by the driver, the customer has the option to either put a warning in place or to VOR the truck. This can be further supported by an email alert to nominated personnel within the business for further action as necessary.
Licence Expiry Management
Individual Licence Expiry management the driver access cards can be pre-programmed in line with individual driver licence expiry dates; or at any other point in the future. This feature enables you to plan the retraining and management of your own and contract drivers around the business operations.
Card Expiry
The driver access cards can be programmed in line with an overall card expiry. This feature enables you to prevent access to your MHE fleet past a certain date, such as an annual medical, or an agency driver on a short term contract.
Lost Card Management
Full remote lost card capabilities – the system removes the risk of any lost or stolen driver access card being used by anyone. This will prevent unauthorised operations of MHE.
Multi Language Display
Multi language display the driver interface can provide up to two different European languages, each language is activated by the driver access card. It will display the same information in both languages.
Vehicle Off Road (VOR)
The TK5 system allows trucks to be put off-road (VOR) if a problem is identified. A VOR prevents drivers accessing the truck when it is unsafe to do so. Once in the VOR status, only qualified engineers and Managers are allowed to operate the truck for the purpose of recovery, repair and service. Once the repair or service is completed, the truck can be released from VOR status allowing drivers to commence using the truck.
Impact Sensing, action and Reporting
The TK5 system can be equipped with an impact sensor. This sensor allows the user to gather information about impacts that their equipment may have in the course of its daily use. The reporting suite can be used as a comparative tool to proactively encourage culture change within your driver team.
On an impact above a configurable threshold, system triggers can initiate a timed delay truck disable or creep speed. This can be further supported by an email alert to nominated personnel within the business for further action as necessary. This information is automatically updated to the driver’s record.
Remote Hour Metering
The system will record and show the hour metering inputs which can help in planning servicing, thorough examination and hours run against a contract.
Messaging
Messages can be sent from the online database directly to a specific driver or truck. The driver is then required to acknowledge the message, which is recorded for future reference.
